Bynach More is a typical Cairngorm munro with it's rock tors on the summit. The route up follows some good tracks and it is easily accessible from Glenmore.

Park the car a the end of the road leading to Glenmore Lodge. Ample parking but allow access to the gate.

Follow the track towards Ryvoan Bothy but take the right branch at the junction 1km. short of the bothy. On the way make sure that you visit the Green Lochan which is indeed Green, looking best in sunlight. Continue on the path to Bynack Stable which is no longer standing. This is a long route which can be cut significantly if you take a bike to Bynach Stable and lock it before continuing on foot. Cross the river and follow the path high onto the shoulder of Bynack More. Turn off the track at the 800m contour and ascend Bynack More by the north ridge. The top has some interesting rock formations. The summit of Bynack More is marked with a cairn amidst a rounded top. (9kms. 760m. 4hrs. 10min.)

It is worth continuing along the ridge for around 500m you reach the distinctive Barns. These are high rock outcrops sitting on top of the ridge and visible from quite a distance. The return journey is via the uphill route. If you have gone to Bynack Barns then reclimb to the top of the hill. Now descend north from the summit via the path to the valley. Join the the path that leads north west from the Strath Nethy and continue to the site of Bynack Stable. Here it is a walk or indeed a cycle back down the tracks to Glenmore Lodge and the car. (9kms. 0m. 2hrs. 40min.)
