CORVID-19 is still with us even though most restrictions have been relaxed in Scotland. The risks of infection are lower if outside, there is still a risk if mixing in large groups. Even so, please do not go out in the Cairngorms, or anywhere else, if you are showing signs of Corvid-19 and when out walking make sure you give people space - 1m at least and preferable 2m. Remember that if it feels too crowded then you can walk away and try somewhere else, the hills will still be there tomorrow. Also remember the MRT. They will come out to rescue you but they should not have to put themselves into danger from this virus.
A number of these routes start and finish at the main Cairngorm car park. Currently there is significant building work being undertaken in repairing the funicular. The site is fenced off to keep people out but there are routes across the work for walkers. Please keep out of this dangerous building site and follow the contractor's instructions.

Glen Feshie gives the walker easy access up onto the plateau behind Braeriach. The two Glen Feshie Munros are on the east of this plateau and easily accessible from the valley.
Parking at the car park at the end of the road just short of Achlean farm. Often busy but you can park at various places along the road.
Walk along the road for 1km. Turn off at the sign just short of Achlean onto the obvious path through the forest. Follow this path up the N side of Allt Fhearnagan. Towards the top turn left, north, to find the summit of Carn Ban Mor. The route now goes north along the wide ridge to the summit. Take care in poor visibility as the east slopes are precipitous. Sgor Gaoith has a summit cairn situated on the edge of the steep E cliffs marks the summit. The west slopes are much gentler. The views over Loch Einich towards Braeriach are spectacular on a clear day.(7kms. 780m. 3hrs. 40min.)
Leave the summit south retracing your steps to Carn Ban Mor and then onto the uphill path from Glen Feshie. Follow this path to join the high track near to .957. Follow the track towards Mullach Clach a Bhlair. Just after the track junction leave the track by an indistinct path that leads directly to the summit. Mullach Clach a'Bhlair is a flat summit with a simple cairn marking the top. 400m south of the high track. Again there are great views east towards the Moine Mor.(6kms. 200m. 2hrs. 10min.)
From the summit descend north east to the plateau track and follow this track to the track junction. Take the left branch descending steadily to Glen Feshie. Do not cross the river but follow the network of paths along the east side of the valley floor back to Achlean and the car park.(7kms. 0m. 2hrs. 10min.)
